Mildly entertaining debut from Terrio follows the lives of several New Yorkers over 24 hours. Diana (Close) is an award-winning diva who gives acting classes at Juillard. Struggling Alec (Bradford) auditions for Diana and she decides to use him to console herself about her husband's latest romance by inviting Alec to her big birthday bash. Meanwhile, her photographer daughter Isabel (Banks) is worried about her upcoming wedding to handsome lawyer Jonathan (Marsden), who is dodging journalist Peter (Light) for suspicious reasons. Based on co-writer Fox's play.
