Sweet documentary about ballroom dancing. Only the participants are New York City fifth graders participating in a 10-week program organized by the American Ballroom Theater. The doc follows students from Bensonhurst, Tribeca, and Washington Heights (a mixture of races, ethnicities, and incomes) as they learn the fox trot, meringue, rumba, swing, and tango (and how to deal with the opposite sex) in order to take part in an annual citywide competition.
