Documentary offering a glimpse into the harsh, early days of women's professional wrestling. However, a glimpse is not normally enough. Director Ruth Leitman does an incredible job of assembling the original players, telling tales of the abuse, the lies, and the horror of the bygone era, but seems to get ahead of herself and moves on too quickly. These tough broads, some in their eighties, still spit nails and the vocabulary of a few could put any gansta rapper to shame. Leitman cherishes these ladies, but with such a down and dirty subject, she could've gotten a lot more down, and a little dirtier.
