The Game of Their Lives Movie Review 2005

Bland account of the United States' long-shot 1950 soccer team--a hodgepodge of players haphazardly rounded up--that jolted a heavily superior English team in the first round of the World Cup in Brazil. Weak script that, while it scores on facts, gives the cast of mostly cookie-cut pretty boys very little to get fired up about.
