Low-budget riot grrl send-up of "Charlie's Angels" begs the question "Why parody something that never took itself seriously in the first place?" A secret government agency known as the D.E.B.S. recruits nubile teenage girls through trick questions in the S.A.T. that identify their willingness to lie, cheat, and kill. After the team monitors supervillian Lucy Diamond (Brewster) during her blind date with assassin Ninotchka (Cauffiel), leader Amy (Foster) gets a crush on Lucy, which jeopardizes the whole team. Even with the lesbianism added for extra taboo, Robinson can't elevate her material beyond its one-joke premise. Pretty anemic comedy, but plenty for schoolgirl fetishists to be happy about.
