The Perfect Man Movie Review 2005

Whenever 16-year-old Holly's (Duff) single mom, the gloomy Jean (Locklear), loses at love she packs up Holly and younger sister Zoe to a brand new city in a desperate search for a fresh start. Fed up with the chaos, Holly concocts a secret admirer--based on her best friend Amy's suave Uncle Ben (Noth)--when she sees another potentially lame suitor on the horizon in the form of Styx-loving Lenny (O'Malley). Naturally the ruse gets dicey and Holly must scurry to cover her you-know-what. Feeble humor, plus it's hard to believe the knockout Locklear would have trouble finding a decent man.
