House of Wax Movie Review 2005

Based on, but not very faithful to, the creepy 1953 3-D horror flick that starred Vincent Price. In this dismal dumbed-down remake, your usual gang of stupid college students are stranded by car trouble on their way to a football game. They wind up in the very small town of Ambrose and make the mistake of seeking help from the curator of a strange museum, Trudy's House of Wax, filled with wax figures that seem suspiciously lifelike. Said students include Hilton (making her legit film debut) who everyone will be happy to see encased in wax, which should actually make her more lifelike.
