In the Realms of the Unreal Movie Review 2004

Rich documentary study of the life of outsider artist Henry Darger, who lived most of his life as a harmless oddball janitor. When he died in 1973, his neighbors discovered a huge cache of paintings and writings showing a bizarre, oceanic imaginary world. If you can get beyond Darger's obsession with naked hermaphroditic little girls, and that's not so easy, film is an awesome exploration of the power of the human mind. One of a kind.
