Complete waste of two attractive, amusing leads. High-strung New Yorker Kat (Messing) must fly to London for her self-absorbed half-sister Amy's (Adams) wedding. To her horror, the best man is her ex-fiance Jeff (Sheffield), who dumped her. Refusing to appear alone and needy, especially to her critical mother Bunny (Taylor), Kat decides to hire handsome escort Nick (Mulroney) to accompany her as her new beau. Nick is intelligent and somewhat mysterious; Kat is confused. There are various pre-wedding complications as sub-plots. Predictability rules.
