When we last saw her in the movie "Daredevil," Elektra had died, but thanks to the magical healing power of her mentor Stick (Stamp) she's alive and kicking. Regrettably, she came back only to be in yet another wretched film. Elektra is an assassin-for-hire. Her next assignment is to kill 13-year-old Abby (Prout) and Abby's father (Visnjic) who are the target of a powerful faction called The Hand...which (dramatic music here) is a powerful secret society. Through heavy-handed flashbacks of her own childhood, Elektra instantly bonds with the girl and decides to protect them instead.
