Farmer Nolan Walsh (Greenwood), finds a baby zebra (voiced by Muniz) left by a traveling circus in rural Kentucky and raises him on his farm. Stripes grows up yearning to be a racing horse, just as Channing (Panettiere), the farmer's daughter, yearns to be a jockey. The plot thickens as Walsh is a former horse trainer whose wife died in a riding accident and has since forbidden Channing from racing. Strange combination of "Babe," "National Velvet" and "Charlotte's Web" uses live animals with creepy computer-enhanced mouths for the speaking parts. Kids will enjoy it, but mom and dad might get bored with its routine plotlines.
