Spanish director Balaguero follows up his debut feature, "The Nameless," with a haunted house chiller that fails its fright quotient. Americans Mark (Glen), his wife Maria (Olin), and their kids Regina (Paquin) and Paul (Enquist) relocate to a rural house somewhere in Spain. Various paranormal experiences begin to occur, which Regina's parents ignore. Her little brother develops unexplained bruises and becomes afraid of the dark. Regina finds out the house has a disturbing history involving children who disappeared. Should have been more scary.
