Clunky live-action version of Bill Cosby's standup routines and the animated series "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids." Depressed South Philly teen Doris (Pratt) is watching TV Land reruns of the show when a magic portal opens up allowing Fat Albert (an agreeable Thompson) and his gang to pop into her living room. F.A. feels obliged to offer advice to help Doris gain some self-esteem and even develops a crush on Doris' popular foster sister, Lauri (Ramirez). Meanwhile, the '70s-era tooners react to the real world of the 21st century in expected fish-out-of-water ways. Hey, hey, hey is more why, why, why?
