The Manson Family Movie Review 2004

A graphic depiction of Charlie (Games), his followers, and their crimes, which took director Van Bebber something like 15 years to finance and complete. You can admire his dedication without admiring the results, which intentionally look like exploitation schlock. A framing device has a TV reporter (Day) working on a documentary of the Family that leads to flashbacks of the sex, drugs, and violence that consume them.
