Famously difficult German director Werner Herzog is followed by a documentary crew ala "Burden of Dreams" as he tries to film his meditation on humanity's obsession with the Loch Ness monster. Whole production is wonderfully tongue-in-cheek mockumentary within a mockumentary. Game and lively cast pokes unrelenting fun at themselves and the task at hand in this humorous exploration of filmmaking and unmaking. Though nodding to such films as "Waiting for Guffman" and "Blair Witch Project," film is thoroughly and enjoyably one of a kind.
