Claustrophobic cat-and-mouse, cops-and-robbers noir. Lau (Lau) is a Triad member who's sent by his boss Hon Sam (Tsang) to the police academy so he can become a deep cover mole. Chan (Leung Chui-wai) is a cop whose boss, Supt. Wong (Wong), has sent him into the mob as a police informer. Each boss knows he has a mole and each mole knows it's only a matter of time before a slip-up will prove fatal. Lau is sent by Internal Affairs to investigate the Triad mole while Chan is told to find out who the police stoolie is. Talk about your identity crisis! Cantonese with subtitles. There's also a prequel and a sequel.
