The Event Movie Review 2003

Unbalanced effort begins with AIDS-stricken Matt dying at his so-called farewell party, arousing the suspicions of Assistant D.A. Nick (Posey). As Matt's suffering is recounted in flashbacks, Nick has a hard time pursuing the case after recently witnessing her father's painful death.
