Love Letters Movie Review 1999

Andy (Weber) and Melissa's (Linney) tender friendship began as children and their attraction continued throughout their lives, as Andy recounts after Melissa's death via many years worth of letters between them. Despite the intense feelings, their careers took them in opposite directions as Andy flourished as a lawyer-turned-senator and Melissa toiled as an artist. Directed by the legendary Dohen and based on A.R. Guerney's smash play.
