Low-brow, slack-paced comedy debut from Rivera is filled with stereotypes. Todd Anderson (Storm P) takes advantage of being the NBA's No. 1 draft pick by letting his greedy girlfriend Brittany (Good) talk him into buying an ostentatious mansion in a gated community, among other perks. His distrustful mom (Lewis) insists he keep to his down-home ways by hosting the big annual cookout for family and friends, which brings all the hangers-on into the backyard. Queen Latifah has what's basically an extended cameo as a zealous community security guard.
