Evergreen Movie Review 2004

Troubled mother Kate (Seymour) and daughter Henri (Land) move to a new community in hope of a fresh start. Henri resents her family's dire position and sets out to create a better niche with her newfound boyfriend's affluent but screwed up family. Dreary independent coming-of-age film is helped by good performances, especially from Land, but offers few surprises.
