Almost Peaceful Movie Review 2002

In 1946, a Jewish tailor is restarting his business and attempting to regain a life of normalcy. Deville quietly follows the Jewish employees--some who have survived the camps, some who have escaped the horrors but have fought their own war--as they stitch, sew, and try to restore themselves. Intertwined stories flow marvelously, providing poignant observation of the Holocaust aftermath.
