A harmlessly stupid buddy flick finds three lifelong friends--phobic Dan (Green), surfer dude Jerry (Lillard), and loudmouth Tom (Shepard)--mourning the unexpected death of pal Billy. Uneasily pushing 30, these faux grown-ups decide to pursue a childhood fantasy by heading into the Oregon woods to search for the lost treasure of '70s crime legend, D.B. Cooper. Now the real fun begins as they deal with growling bears, canoeing the rapids, redneck pot farmers, tree-huggers, and, briefly, a charismatically grizzled Burt Reynolds. There's a lot of standard scatological and slapstick humor as well as many nostalgic '70s and '80s references that may be lost on a younger crowd.
