How to classify "AvP?" Is it an "Alien" or "Predator" movie? It doesn't really matter since it's the worst offering that either franchise has produced to date. Predictable, effects-laden prequel to the four-part "Alien" saga and a sequel to the two "Predator" films has a bunch of humans finding an arctic training base for adolescent Predators that uses Aliens as their prey. Of course, the silly humans get caught between them and bad things happen. Monster fest fails to enhance either franchise.
