King of the Ants Movie Review 2003

Handyman Sean (McKenna) could stand a little excitement but he gets more than he bargained for when Duke (Wendt, convincing in quite the anti-"Norm" role) steers him to crooked businessman Ray (Baldwin) who wants Sean to clip a city accountant who's getting too close for comfort. He jumps at the chance but the feel-good ends there when Ray and Duke cut him loose and have his face rearranged. Whereupon, it becomes a standard revenge tale. Screenwriter Charlie Higson adapted from his 1992 novel of the same name.
