Perfect Strangers Movie Review 2003

It's too bad when a girl (Blake) can't go out on the town, get plastered, and pick up an honorable, upstanding guy. No, he (Neill) has to turn out to be a charming kidnapper (aren't those the worst kind?) who holds her hostage at his shack on a desolate island (off of New Zealand's west coast). But, this captivating yet contorted tale might just reveal that there's just no escaping the true bliss that demented love brings.
