It's 1914, and Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa finds himself in dire need of funding for his campaign against the military-run government. He strikes a deal with American filmmakers D.W. Griffith (Feore) and Harry Aiken (Broadbent) that provides them with full access to his war. Based upon actual events, their efforts resulted in the first feature length film. Splendid portrayal by the charismatic and superbly-cast Banderas in the title role of the complex and compelling Villa.
