Shot days prior to the Iraq War, director Noujaim provides a fly on the wall account of the goings on at Al Jazeera, the leading news service for Arab-speaking viewers and also at Centcom, a makeshift media village set up by the U.S. military for the purpose of holding and briefing journalists from around the world. Your certainties will be scrambled and your assumptions shaken, if you think you can believe everything you hear on your news broadcasts. Presented in a surprisingly unbiased manner, provocative critique strongly questions the notion of journalistic objectivity.
