Director Spurlock becomes a human guinea pig in his cautionary tale/experiment into the apparently very dangerous world of fast food. Vowing to eat three meals a day at McDonald's for a full 30 days, Spurlock also had a strict "always say yes" policy when asked by a Mickey D's employee if he wanted to super size. The result was a 30-pound weight gain, severely declining health, and a film so controversial it caused McDonald's to stop their super size promotion months after the film debuted at the Sundance Film Festival. Gross-out doc mixes comedy with concern. Watching this one might even have die hard fast food freaks munching salad. Includes interviews with ice cream heir John Robbins, former surgeon general David Sacher, and Subway poster-boy Jared.
