Bram Stoker's title character takes on Frankenstein's monster, the Wolf Man and Count Dracula. Hollywood's macho "Indiana Jones meets James Bond" Van Helsing (Jackman) is a high-tech bow and arrow-slinging, creature-slaying hero who travels with sidekick Carl (Wenham), to Transylvania to kill the head vampire himself (Roxburgh). Sexy gypsy Anna (Beckinsale) turns up seeking to vanquish Dracula and lift a curse her family has suffered for centuries. With chase scenes, a masked ball, nonstop adventure, monsters galore, and a script that doesn't take itself too seriously, this f/x extravaganza will find something to appeal to everyone.
