Disney kicks this 2-D cartoon old-school style--which would be great if there was anything new, fresh, or very funny going on. Three gal cow pals (Barr, Dench, and Tilly) trying to save their farm from foreclosure go after the bounty on the evil rustler Alameda Slim (Quaid). Lots of hyped-up action and gags will keep the kids amused; however, it wants oh-so-much to mimic the classic Looney Tunes but, like Daffy to Bugs, it just doesn't measure up. Oscar winner Alan Menken produces some pleasant if not memorable music with singers k.d. lang, Bonnie Raitt, and Tim McGraw.
