Six friends try to cope with the reality of turning 30, and the re-evaluation of their lives that the milestone brings. Natalie, a Wall Street success, pretends to be domesticated to attract a conservative doctor. Commitment-averse Leland is forced to propose to his live-in girl Joy because of a jewelry shop mix-up; Troy, a stand-up comedian wonders if he'll get that big break; Stephanie has liposuction to change her outlook and prospects; and Malik quits his job to become a model. It all has a very sitcomy feel, but the writing is good enough to make the various lessons learned more palatable.
