Catch That Kid Movie Review 2004

One part kid caper to one part heist movie, equals a real klunky movie. Maddy (Stewart), a 12-year-old adventurous (and apparently morally flexible) tomboy, decides to pull off a $250,000 bank robbery so the family can afford an operation for her father (Robards), who is paralyzed. The worst crime here is the lackluster writing and uninspired direction. Adapted from the Danish film "Klatretosen."
