Between Strangers Movie Review 2002

Three Toronto women suffer personal crises and contemplate changing their lives. Housewife Olivia (Loren) is debating whether to leave her abusive invalid husband (Postlethwaite); war photographer Natalia (Sorvino) is burned out trying to live up to her father's reputation and contemplates a career change; and cellist Catherine (Unger) is upset over her father's (McDowell) recent release from prison for a crime that has haunted her since childhood. Ponti's debut and his mom Loren's 100th film.
