Nine-year-old Camille (Hugon) is addicted to videotaping everything that happens in his life. During a visit to the park, Camille insists that Ariane (Huppert) isn't his real mother and gives her an address that he says is his real home. When they visit, Ariane learns that the owner, Isabelle (Balibar), had a son Camille's age who drowned. Isabelle is later institutionalized, but escapes and Camille also runs away. Ariane watches Camille's videotapes to get clues to what's happened to her son. Adapted from the novel "Il Figlio di Due Madre" by Massimo Bontempelli. French with subtitles.
