Moving fictionalized account by director Minac of his mother's recollections of being one of nearly 700 Czech Jewish children saved in the Kindertransport trains. Briton Nicholas Winton (Graves) is on holiday in Prague in 1938; recognizing the worsening situation for the Jews in Czechoslovakia, he discovers that both Sweden and Britain are willing to take in child refugees if he can transport them out of the country. One of these potential transportees is 10-year-old David (Holicek), a member of a weathy family who fail to recognize the seriousness of their situation. Czech with subtitles.
