Close to Leo Movie Review 2002

Uneven-but-intimate family drama finds 20-year-old Leo (Mignard), the eldest of four sons, revealing to his family that he is HIV-positive. His parents decide that their youngest, 12-year-old Marcel (Lespert), is too young to hear the news, although the kid is bright enough to realize something serious is going on and resentful that he is being left out. Honore adapted and directed from his own 1996 novel. French with subtitles.
