O Fantasma Movie Review 2000

The darker side of sexuality is explored as lonely, twentysomething trash collector Sergio (Menses) drifts through his life in a dreamline haze, indulging in anonymous sexual encounters. He discovers a taste for the sexual extreme and becomes obsessed with the unobtainable Joao (Barbosa)--stalking him until Sergio can act on his desires. Explicit sex--fuzzy narrative. Portuguese with subtitles.
