The Fat Spy Movie Review 1966

Campy beach movie parody has a gaggle of treasure hunting teens, a tycoon's daughter, her boyfriend, his twin brother, and the twin's girlfriend descending on an island off the Florida coast looking for the Fountain of Youth. Flick tries hard, with plenty of (awful) "rock" music by The Wild Ones, Jayne Mansfield, and Phyllis Diller among the participants wildly mugging for laughs. None of it works, as parody or straight comedy. Unless you're a fan of ulta-bad quickie exploitation, don't bother.
