In the Cut Movie Review 2003

Meg Ryan, in an attempt to break out of her sweet, blond, comic romance roles takes on the part of a sexually repressed teacher who engages in an affair with a suspected serial killer. The sex scenes are appropriately steamy, but a weak plot and so-so acting conspire to undercut the suspense. Based on the Susanna Moore novel.
