Good Fences Movie Review 2003

In the mid-1970s, upwardly mobile black lawyer Tom Spader (Glover) moves with his wife Mabel (Goldberg) and their kids into a posh Greenwich, Connecticut, suburb and embraces all sorts of WASP-y behavior--much to Mabel's disgust. Self-indulgent and simplistic satire. Based on the novel by Ericka Ellis.
