Englishman Valentin (Irons) is a jewel thief who likes disguises and is suffering from mysterious blackouts. In Paris, jazz singer Jane Lester (Kaas) is also suffering from blackouts. They both wind up in Morocco, staying at the same hotel and seeing the same doctor (both turn out to have brain tumors). They flirt, there's a robbery at the hotel, a cop investigates...and the film continues to meander on and on. It all looks lovely but doesn't amount to much. English and French with subtitles.
