Sixteen-year-old Etienne (Tavares) has two obsessions: figure skating and filming everything that happens around him with the video camera he got for his birthday. He films his mom, Caroline (Ascaride), and her new boyfriend Laurent (Zaccai), his grandmother (Surgere), and his best friend Ludovic (Bonnifait)--few of whom are happy to constantly be in the camera's eye. The viewer also becomes aware (although those around him seem oblivious) to the virginal Etienne's sexuality--he has a crush on both Laurent, who happens to be his history teacher, and pal Ludovic, who can't deal with any sexual revelations. French with subtitles.
