Searching for Paradise Movie Review 2002

Gilda (Pratt) is obsessed with New York actor Michael De Santis (Noth). After her father dies (and she's disillusioned by some family skeletons), Gilda decides to take up her grandmother's offer to visit her in the Big Apple--the better to stalk De Santis. Hopelessly naive and a little unhinged, Gilda eventually poses as a journalist to meet her hero. Underdeveloped drama with little character development or explantion. Writer/director Paci's debut.
