Lightweight tale of teens and their quest for fme and the booty that comes with it rides the rails of the newly-hip extreme sports genre. The straight-outta-Central Casting group of grinders consists of good-looking Eric (Vogel); ladies man Sweet Lou (Kern); goofy, sex-crazed Matt (Vieluf); and the nerdy Dustin (Brody). They follow their skateboarding hero Jimmy Wilson (London) on tour and hope to grab the pro's attention with their skateboarding antics in order to win a coveted sponsorship and ensuing fame and fortune. Pic finds moderate success when sticking to the 'board action (even if it's obviously stand-in work) while gross-out and slacker humor too often misses the mark.
