Shadows of Memory Movie Review 2000

Filmmaker Claudia von Alemann, her 84-year old mother and 17-year old daughter return to the village of Seebach in East Germany and confront an unsettling family past, revealing the little-heard point of view of the average German citizen, those who supported Hitler but later changed their beliefs with great guilt and remorse for their affiliations.
