The Young Girl and the Monsoon Movie Review 1999

Successful photojournalist and divorced dad Hank (Kinney) agrees to take care of 13-year-old daughter Constance (Muth) while her mother, with whom she usually lives, is out of town. Constance is a mass of teenage contradictions--constantly testing her boundaries (and Hank's sanity and patience). Hank has kept his work and life, including the fact that his girlfriend is a twentysomething model named Erin (Avital), from Constance but there's an explosion in every conversation.
