Every cliche possible appears in this cross between an afterschool special and a movie-of-the-week. Billy Stagen (Johnson) is a former pro football player who's becomes the sheriff of his Alabama hometown, Rustin. He slides by on charm and local celebrity until troubled teen Lee (Johnson) shows up, claiming to be his daughter. Now it's time to see if Billy can handle adult responsibilities. Meat Loaf is the current high school coach and Bryan is the latest football player-hero (in case you're wondering why they're featured on the box cover).
