Scorcher Movie Review 2002

China sets off a series of underground nuclear explosions that cause tectonic plate shifts, earthquakes, volcanoes, and a rapid rise in global temperature. The only way to save the planet is a nuclear counterstrike--centered beneath L.A. in three days. So the city is evacuated and the usual team of misfits is assembled to do the impossible. At least this flick's fast-paced enough to run right over all those pesky plot holes.
