In the 50s and 60s a group of untrained African-American landscape artists from Fort Pierce, Florida were forced to sell their work from car trunks due to racists attitudes at galleries. In 1995 the art world finally recognized their talent, this is their story. DVD includes a gallery of 56 paintings from 14 Highwaymen and biographies for some artists.
