This Is Not a Love Song Movie Review 2002

Petty criminal Heaton (Glenaan) has just picked up his pal Spike (Colgan) who was doing a short stint in a Glasgow prison. When their car runs out of gas on a lonely country road, they hike to the nearest farm in search of help. Too bad the farmer thinks these ruffians are there to rob the place. In the ensuing confusion, Spike accidentally shoots and kills the farmer's daughter. Now the two friends take off across the moors--pursued not only by the police but by a vigilante group of locals. Title is taken from the Public Image Ltd. song that is heard in various versions.
